One of Sony’s sites in Greece have been exposed to an interference which resulted in 9000 criticial data published on the internet.
For the fourth time within one month, one of Sony’s network suffered a hacker attack. This time, the company’s Web site in Greece who have suffered an interference with personal data of 9000 users have been exposed.
The hackers who managed to break into servers owned by Sony BMG in Greece on Sunday proved his feat by publishing the stolen database of information on a hacker site.
Personal data published by hackers include names, user names and email addresses of people registered on Sony’s Greek website.
The interference by using a so-called SQL attack has been done. A method that makes it possible to send special characters or data in the form to access the database.
This looks like a classic hacker attack. I’m surprised that Sony did not discover this security hole, given how easily the attack was carried out. This was not a sophisticated attack, says a security expert.
The latest hacker attack is the third infringement against Sony in recent days.
The latest attacks , however, is small in comparison with last month’s attack on the PlayStation Network, which resulted in the sensitive personal information belonging to spirit 102 million people was stolen.
